This Micro-credential Short Course Clinical Toxicology聽corresponds to module 9聽of the MAS in Toxicology.
Audience
Learning outcomes
Students will be able to understand the evaluation and treatment of acute poisoning with the relevant mechanisms of toxicity, describe and interpret qualitative and quantitative aspects of intoxications and adverse drug reactions, with specific references to the harmful effects individuals and specific vulnerable populations, as well as on the immune system, and be able to interpret laboratory tests. Based upon the principles of toxicokinetics and toxicodynamics, the students will be able to analyse intoxications and harmful drug effects such as majors clinical toxicology syndrome (鈥渢oxidromes鈥�) and to establish general preventive and therapeutic measures.
