We are seeking an exceptional Postdoctoral Research Associate to join our team working on the ATLAS Experiment at CERN's Large Hadron Collider. This is a two-year position with the possibility of a two-year extension.

听

The DPNC ATLAS group is a key contributor to the ITk Pixel construction, particularly the Outer Barrel component. We have a rich history in silicon detector development for various experiments and applications. Our group plays leading roles in design, construction, and integration, while also contributing significantly to the ATLAS physics program and experiment operations. We have extensive expertise in machine learning applications for particle physics.

-听听听听听听听Lead DPNC's ITk construction and commissioning efforts

-听听听听听听听Collaborate with engineering teams and supervise doctoral and master students

-听听听听听听听Potential involvement in machine learning projects or physics analysis

-听听听听听听听Potential participation in R&D for future colliders

-听听听听听听听Limited teaching duties at the AV短视频

-听听听听听听听Ph.D. in Physics or related field

-听听听听听听听Proven experience in particle physics research

-听听听听听听听Strong track record as an independent researcher

-听听听听听听听Expertise in Silicon sensor instrumentation and hardware systems

-听听听听听听听Proficiency in software programming and data analysis

-听听听听听听听Excellent teamwork and communication skills

-听听听听听听听Fluency in English; knowledge of French is advantageous
