Dark Matter Searches

With the ATLAS data at听鈭歴 = 8 TeV, we searched听for听dark matter in events with听missing transverse momentum听and听a hadronically decaying W or Z boson (), a听Z boson () or听heavy quarks ().
听
As an example of the results, the figure shows the observed 90% C. L. upper limits on the听蠂-nucleon scattering cross section as a function of m蠂听for the spin-dependent听D9听effective operators mediating the interaction of the dark-matter particles with the quark-antiquark听initial state.听
