Changes in the SNSF's support for publication costs
Since January 1, 2025, the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) has implemented a new procedure for covering Open Access publication fees (APCs) for articles resulting from projects it funds. From now on, only unpaid invoices are eligible: reimbursement of invoices previously paid by researchers is no longer possible.
