OpenAthens is a system that allows you to connect to the platforms hosting the Library's digital resources (publisher's website or database, etc.) with the institutional login (ISIs/HUG) from any computer, worldwide, without VPN.

• Authentication with OpenAthens (ISIs login) is valid for 12 hours for all publishers who use it. Once identified with OpenAthens, if you go to the site of another publisher who also uses this authentication method, it is in principle not necessary to identify yourself again.
• On some publisher platforms, a connection via Shibboleth-AAI (SWITCH edu-ID) is also offered.

These are available in the entrance halls of Uni Dufour, Uni Mail, Uni Bastions and at CMU, to allow everyone to have access to internet to consult emails, carry out searches, look for a job …

There is no need for a user identification or password to use these.

If you have been invited, you can use Wi-Fi by creating a temporary wifi access. .
